Uganda's Aid Management Platform (AMP) is the Government's official online database of aid-funded projects and programs in Uganda. It is managed by the Aid Liaison Department in the Ministry of Finance, Planning, and Economic Development. and allows you to find out what our development partners are working on and what's being achieved, read profiles of donors and sectors, use the interactive map to see exactly where projects and programmes are located and how aid matches up with various development indicators, and view in-depth reports.
AMP is part of the Government of Uganda's commitment to transparency, accountability and aid effectiveness, providing in-depth, up-to-date information on how external support is being used to drive social and economic development across the country.
The information you can view is entered online by both the Ministry of Finance and development partners. The Ministry enters the key data for all on budget projects -- projects for which the donor funding is channeled through the Government systems. Development partners enter the key data for all off budget projects -- projects for which the funding does not pass through the Government systems. Development partners also enter annual funding projections for all on budget projects on the Government's Medium Term Fiscal Framework (MTFF). These projections are aligned with the Government fiscal year and typically show projections up to five years in advance.
The system is used by the Government of Uganda and by Development Partners to ensure that external assistance to where it is most needed, that efforts are coordinated, and that projects and programmes are implemented effectively.
